A Thousand Words

What a great photo. I love enticing paths and how the imagery of paths suits the web. This one, leading off into infinity as it does, takes the biscuit!
Thanks
You are bound and determined to make me go to California again just to see the ocean.
Don't need a thousand words, just a few: whereabouts is this lovely place?
bb, that pic is still my desktop wallpaper on my pc at the office, many people have come in a commented on how amazing it looks.
It makes me think of Donny in the Big Lebowski...
Where does the walkway meander?
(And she's climbing a stairway to heaven.)
also...
Reminds me of the Widow's Peak in New England fishing homes; a place to watch the ocean for returning sailors.
This snap makes me wish for you a panoramic lens.
Shut up, Jerry--you'reout of your depth!
(that's an allusion to The Big Lebowski—I'm not saying mean things to or about Jerry. Honest.
Don't worry AKMA, your comment really brought the room together.
However did you manage to take a real-life picture of "Myst"?
Joey, that's it! I kept thinking I'd been there... and I had.
Myst... I hadn't thought of it, but yeah.
Well, the makers of Myst don't live far from this point - Muir Beach overlook off of Highway 1 in Northern California, just north of San Francisco. So the take on Myst is probably pretty accurate.
Sorry, wrong software game company. Myst folks are in Washington.
