ThreadNeedle
DSL is still a problem. The phone company will be coming out to test for a short in the line, and I'm on modem until then.
Also working on ThreadNeedle, which I want to finish and put out so that others can grab and manipulate and improve. Big whoop.

Ruh-ro...where did the firefly post go?
It is indeed a big whoop, but I for one am kinda boggled by the techtalk at the Quicktopic thread http://www.quicktopic.com/14/H/P96CAYje2yc , and fairly sure I couldn't add anything germane to the discussion, so I'm waiting with bated breath to see what eventuates...
Sorry Shirl (Bill) - I reposted the burningbug posting. Bad me.
Thank you thank you...
Fireflies have been kinda big on the web this summer. I enjoyed your post.
Stavros, I'm as lost as you are over there. We can be like the animals who didn't help Little Red Hen bake the bread, but were happy enough to eat it. :)
Or perhaps we can be human test subjects later in the process... after all, the engineers might make the planes, but it's the test pilots who get to blow up! Strap me on into that ThreadNeedle, Shelley.
That Himmer guy, he blowed up reeal good! Yee-hah!
Stavros, is that emphasis or bold?
And you're right, Steve is one brave soul. Doesn't know what he's getting into. Hee hee hee.
Just as long as someone handsome plays me in the TV biopic... 'Daring Test Pilots of the Web', this week on Hallmark Classics
I'm very much a blogger newbe, found burningbird via emptybottle via plep via my mate Rich, so there you go, here I am. I know my page does not look much like a blog, but there is some good links.
The main reason I'm posting is to applaud burningbird's affirmation, that we cannot be objective about ourselves. I've long held this view and it is nice to know I'm not alone.

Welcome to the zoo, Peter!
