Robin Williams
This last month has been about the worst month I've had in years. This last week has been one of the worst weeks I've had in months. Today was one of the worst days I've had in weeks.
And then, tonight, I watched Robin William's cable special and laughed until I choked, tears streamng down my cheeks, face red, sides hurting.
The man's a miracle.

Feel better, Bb, or I'll have to come 'round there and tickle you or something. And neither of us can afford the plane fare! :-)
I'm glad you're laughing Shelley. He is a laugh riot--and talk about energy. Just go ahead and suck his energy right out of your TV! You're allowed!
When I first saw Robin Williams Live at the Met, I was blown away. He's an amazing comedian. Like Bill Cosby he interjects a bit of real-life perspective into his routines, but unlike Cosby, he doesn't hold any punches.
Live at the Met is the only thing I've got on VHS that I still play. Everything else will go the way of magneto-rot.
Wait, was this a *new* special? Is he doing new standup?
I agree, he is indeed. I hadn't laughed so hard in a long, long time. The world needs more like him... though it's hard to imagine what a squad of Robin Williamses would be like...
