NeighborhoodSudsy Stuff

Good Evening. Spotted Woman, here.

What is it with men and their toys to do housework? Now Eric has joined the Sudsy Men of Weblogging (look for the calendar, soon, at supermarkets everywhere) and posted a photograph of his favorite washing utensil--no, not another Dishmatique. At least, I don't think it's a Dishmatique. How can I tell? All of these dishwashing toys look alike.

Wanna know what I use for dishes? A dishwasher.

Eric did point to a new toy I would like to have -- a Toshiba PDR-3300. I like my Nikon, but would really like to have more pixels under my belt. But instead of the Toshiba, I'll take the Cannon EOS 1D.

(The Dishmatique link goes to a Google lookup on 'Dishmatique'. I got a chuckle when I saw how much we've screwed around with the listings for this poor little product. Think we'll get sued like Davezilla?)

Woohoo! The camera looks like something Darth Vader'd fly in to fight the rebels!

It's nummy, isn't it. This is all I want for Christmas...

That's not a Dishmatique, Bb. I've emailed Eric to ask for more info.

I never dreamed when I started blogging that I'd become the world authority on Dishmatiques.

You might want to check out the Nikon D100 too -- depending on your lenses, you might be able to use some of them with the D100.

I was blown away when I saw the Google listings for Dishmatique. Best laugh I had all day.

I heard about the Nikon D100. I like the Nikon optics, but am less than happy with the company's software and driver support. Still, if one can use one's lenses, that's a lot of the cost. Thanks for note on it.

Y'know, there are too many Erics with Weblogs -- you write all week about locking horns with warblogger Eric, and then suddenly say he's joined the Sudsy Men. You guys, like the Nikon D100, are obviously out of my class photowise; I enjoy cameras like the Toshiba PDR-3300 'cause I'm at most half a step beyond your typical holiday-snap Instamatic thumb-over-the-lens shooter.

But Eric, you're Eric, and Eric Olsen was listed as Eric Olsen. However, I bet it was confusing for the average reader...

"Huh? What? Sudsy?"
